Luciana was born in Rome through her father and mother - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian Army officer, and her mom was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's lover's wives. It's not clear if there are any siblings. Luciana went to the local high school, following her graduation in the year 1955. She then she studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female in her class. In two years, she started her modeling career. Soon after, she had the opportunity to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a family friend of her father. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first wife. They made Return to the Peyton Palace following their wedding in 1960. Luciana received custody after the couple split a few years after Charles had been born. Luciana was involved in a romantic relationship with Tony Athony from 1962 until 1970. Tony is a producer and actor who had the idea by her character to write and direct this Spaghetti Western hybrid based on the character she played in the movie Green Slime.
