Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. As students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
