Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy papers. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Numerous other books as well as magazines followed. The Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge success. Also, Ina sells products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or employed in a restaurant, and has a complete self-taught. Her name is known for her easy style of entertainment as well as her simple cooking. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
