Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several prizes. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. Her first job was as a photo assistant. She then moved on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw became a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was the highest-rated female box office star in the entire world. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw is married three times.
